In this series of interviews, Karen Putz chats with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people who are living with PASSION.

Karen Putz is known as "The Passion Mentor."  She is the author of several books, including "Unwrapping Your Passion, Creating the Life You Truly Want." 

(And yes, Karen is Deaf).

Karen was born hearing, grew up hard of hearing, and became deaf from a fall while barefoot water skiing. 

She did not have Deaf and Hard of Hearing role models while growing up, despite growing up in a deaf/hard of hearing family with Spoken English. 

After becoming deaf, Karen chose to embrace the journey and learned ASL. Her husband and children are Deaf. Karen teaches "Finding Your Passion" at RIT in New York.

This series of interviews is an inside look at what it means to live YOUR passion. Everyone in the series is Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
